With a west wind all week it wasn’t as hot and there was a low to incoming tide in the mornings. Early in the week I chartered the Edward Faicco group and although we were able to catch some trout and bluefish we had to move around a lot, only catching a few fish in each new spot. We were using CAL lures with 3/8 ounce jig heads.
Mid week I chartered the Richard Kerswner group. With an overcast day and the water temps in the high 80’s we were able to catch several trout, bluefish and jack crevelle.
