Joe landed a Redfish to complete his inshore slam.
Joe, visiting from Manchester England, hooked up with me booking a charter out of CB’s Outfitters on Siesta Key to do a morning of fishing.
Just minutes after our launch Joe hooked a nice size snook on his first cast, he was able to catch and release several more snook in our first spot.
Joe and I left fish to find fish and using a popping cork with shrimp Joe reeled in an upper slot size trout. After catching the trout, I informed Joe about the inshore slam. To complete the inshore slam he needed to catch a Redfish.
This was now his goal Finally with the clock ticking and after catching and releasing several more fish, Joe was able to land a Redfish to complete his inshore slam.
