We had a British Invasion of a different sort this past week in Sarasota.
The British are coming, the British are coming! This English gentleman booked a charter with me this past week and caught and released this beautiful Mackerel fishing Sarasota Bay with me on a trip out of CB’s Outfitters.
The weather couldn’t have been more cooperative, it was just a beautiful day to be out on the water. Cooler water, hotter fishing, is what I say. October brings snook, reds, trout, tarpon, and yes, even Spanish mackerel to Sarasota waters.
I've been a fishing guide the Sarasota , Boca Grande area for over 25 years. My Sarasota trips are mostly family oriented 1/2 day fishing trips involving kids who love to catch all the family fun fish. My Boca Grande trips are for the more experienced spin or fly fishing angler.
