Drew Navero from Houston Texas caught this beautiful juvenile Tarpon while fishing with me on an inshore trip out of CBs Outfitter’s this past week.
Locally we’re still knee deep in Tarpon around these parts as we just finished up the 90th Annual Sarasota Tarpon Tournament.
Just an FYI the Sarasota Tarpon Tournament is the oldest continuous Tarpon Tournament in the entire country and all proceeds raised are contributed directly to local children’s charities and local fishing conservation.
I've been a fishing guide the Sarasota , Boca Grande area for over 25 years. My Sarasota trips are mostly family oriented 1/2 day fishing trips involving kids who love to catch all the family fun fish. My Boca Grande trips are for the more experienced spin or fly fishing angler.
