Last week despite the red tide bloom there was still a section of North Sarasota Bay that had very clean water. Fishing with live bait and gulp shrimp produced on some days over 2 dozen trout up to 20 inches as well as Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Pompano.
Wednesday the winds cranked up from the north and the water really cleaned up to a large extentby Thursday. We released all the fish we caught for the sake of stock for the future.

By Wednesday the Bay had cleared considerably.
