Last week the fishing around Sarasota Bay was a little slower than usual. Fishing aboard the ‘Casual Lies’ we caught Bluefish, Trout, Jacks, Ladyfish and Mackerel on silver and white jigs. With the water temperature down in the sixties the Spanish Mackerel should show up on the beach.
Bruce is a Florida native and has lived in Sarasota for thirty years. Capt. Bruce grew up on the east coast of Florida and started fishing with his dad when he was about six years old. Fishing has been a lifetime passion of his and in 2001 he obtained his U.S.C.G. Captain’s license.
