This week saw action offshore fishing for red snapper. Several friends of mine, including Dave Robinson pictured here ho;ding a beautiful red snapper, made the trip out over 60 miles where red snapper, red grouper, scamp, mangrove snapper and lane snapper were caught.
Along the beaches, the tarpon are still schooling and bay trips are still producing speckled trout, black drum, mangrove snapper and Spanish mackerel along with small sharks and some large gaff top sail cats.
Remember, the best time to go fishing is when you can and be sure to save some for seed.
