Chad and his son Charlie from Pennsylvania took a few days vacation on Siesta Key over the long Presidents’ Day weekend. Each year when they’re down here they try to get a fishing trip in. This year I was fortunate enough to have them on board with me.
The father son duo, managed to catch and release several different species of fish. By using live shrimp, they caught and released redfish, snook, trout, sheepshead and ladyfish. The cool weather of a couple weeks ago seemed to be gone and we are getting a lot more consistent with our catch.
Fishing has been a lifetime passion for me. Depending on the skill level of my clients what I like to do is put them on big fish using artificial lures. I like to educating and passing on my knowledge of local history and the many sights the area has to offer while we are on the water.
