Abby, shown here with a big smile on her face, is from Waco Texas. She caught these beautiful Redfish in Sarasota Bay while fishing with Capt Brandon and Capt Hunter while on a 4 hr trip out of CB’s Outfitters on Siesta Key, Florida.
Reds will school up during September, and you’ll find them on shallow flats when the tide is high or along the edges of flats and sand bars at low tide. They may push a wake in shallow water when they are spooked so try to avoid spooking them be getting ahead of them and working around the edges of the school.
I've been a fishing guide the Sarasota , Boca Grande area for over 25 years. My Sarasota trips are mostly family oriented 1/2 day fishing trips involving kids who love to catch all the family fun fish. My Boca Grande trips are for the more experienced spin or fly fishing angler.
